Angled Warp ‘out’ elbow

I’ve seen a couple warp setups with an angled elbow coming out to the hose to push it forward. I’m assuming it’s so you don’t have to cut through the hopper. ‘Riot’ sold a z-grip mag with it not too long ago. Or should I just cut through the revvy and be done with it?

The angled elbows are just copper water pipe fittings that you can get at any hardware store and way more simple than cutting up your hopper.
