Bringing an old gun back to life.

I wish I was brought here under better circumstances but my father passed away recently and in going through things I found my old paintball equipment he gave me as a birthday present, his old minimag! I do know it has an X valve on it, and for some reason RT trigger is firing in my brain? I'm looking to get this guy firing again and to have it become my go to paintball gun, unfortunately I have no idea where to start with getting it up and running again. I saw the restoration service but I want to do everything I can first before I send it out. Also, any tips for finding a place to hydro a tank in Southern California?

    Thanks in advance!

There's a Tom Kaye troubleshooting video on YouTube somewhere, first would be dropping some oil in the Asa and hooking a tank up to it to see if it cycles and go from there. As for tanks in so cal there should be good options, most Scuba shops can help you out with hydrostatic testing, some fire departments can do them or at least point you into the right direction too.
