i have a 16 a 12 and a 10. my fave is the 10 non ported barrel. better gas effieceny then my other 2 barrels thats for sure. 10 is perfect for speedball and thats about all i play. the 16 only gets used when my dad plays woodsball. for me 16 is way to long for speedball or woodsball. heck i think 12 is too big now that im used to my 10

I love my 16 inch barrels. I play hyperball and woodsball and being able to stay behind my bunker, only letting my barrel out a bit is a big bonus. Plus, I sight down the barrel so that extra 2-4 inches is great

i like a 16" barrel for when i play 10-man, just b/c i can sight better down my gun. i use 12" when i play anything smaller, unless of course im playing sup-air, then 16" no matter if it's 1 on 1 or 10-man =)

like he said don't diss the 16" barrel till you try one, they are awesome for aiming and manipulating sup-air bunkers.

yes, well, personally i like a good 14 inch, with about 8 inches unported, mainly like a cp barel, 14 inches is good to wrap arround bunkers with

I voted for 10 inch. Had been using a 14 boomstick ever since i got my mag and finally got a chance to use a 10ich J&J Stainless and it was awsome. It's so much easier to snap shoot and move sided to side in a bunker than with a 14". I wanna try a 12" though. I once used my friend's shocker turbo with an 18" boomstick on that thing and it was insane. It was so long it was hard to keep out of the ground. Only advantage was the accuracy and being able to stick it through bunkers. Made that shocker even more of a gas hog to.

    splat max posting:

I recently purchased a used angel, and it came with several barrels, a 12, 14, and a 16. I was like 16in. is going to be to long, I play primarily hyperball, as well as airball and spool fields. Well anyway the first day with my angel, I said, I'll try the 16in. for one game just for the heck of it, well I've been using the 16in. ever since, never used any of my other barrels. I played front with no problem, great for aiming, and great for wrapping around the bunkers. So before you dis the 16in. use one. My vote goes for 14in. and 16inchers. Also look on the WARPIG gallery's I bet you won't see many of the good teams using 10inchers, I heard one of the AA's uses a custom made 24in.
    O, ya.....
Rock the 16in. or go home

Well, since we're talking about barrels, I'll multiply the usual answer that comes out of my mouth when asked a certain other question by three and I get 12. Yeah, I like the 12 inch barrels. They seem to suit me fine.
