I just baught a new auto mag 68 calssic and the letters written on the valve (68 Automag) dont want to line up. When i turn it back it wants to slip out of line again is thia somthing i sould worry about ? will the air still flow through. and is it anything i can fix easily thanks for the help!

that's happens, after you charge the gun up a and fire a little, the holes in the reg line up(the holes in the older valves didnt line up perfectly).

Yeah mine does it too...it doesn't really matter. Just make sure you don't unscrew it too much when taking your valve out. You want to put a new reg seat in, and then don't take your two halves apart until you get velocity problems.
