In the past years there has been much hype, misconception, and trickery in the paintball market. Many paintball manufacturers out to make a quick buck, or simply to make thier products stand out from the competition have learned that it is very easy to stretch the truth when marketing thier products. This arises from the fact that there has never been an authority to question the claims made by various manufacturers. That is until now...
Just like consumer reports, this forum will act as a consumer protection agency either verifying or debunking claims set forth by manufacturers.
All product evalutaions will follow these general criteria:
- All tests will be done in a scientific manner with the methods and materials clearly revealed. This is so that if another group wishes to verify the information by performing the same test, or wish to critisize the methods behind the test, they can do so with relative ease.
- Proposals will be sorted out by roundtable members to maintain the quality of the threads and to avoid cluttering. Those deemed to be of sufficent quality will be posted in a seprate thread so that investigation can begin.
- All will be allowed to reply to the posted threads, whether it be useful commentary, or a reply in defense of a product. Everybody will have an oppurtunity to become involved.
Guys and gals, you have asked for the truth and now you shall have it!
