lol, i was just making a point and using his own sarcasm against him.

Oh and it wont harm the plastic, all it does is reopen the pores in the plastic, fills them with dye, then when you run it under cold water it recloses those pores, no harm done at all. It's actually just how the manufacturers achieve that gem look in their masks.

If you dont believe me email JT USA you'll get the same answer.

hmm actually due to your sarcastic remark paintchucker i think ill try it. just put the hopper in boiling water, it might just end up taking the dye right out, ill go try it now.

And why the hell would u want to take the dye out, dont u kinda pick the color u want before hand?

taking the dye out will be a bit harder than putting it in.

dying your mask wont be a problem as long as its not the lens. the mask itself doesn't cover any areas that will cause permanent damage if it breaks though it wont because it will give when the ball hits it unlike a lense.

    upolsrty vinyl dye

Go to an autoparts store ask for PVC ( Poly Vinyl Chloride)dye, if they look at you strange, theel them you want to change your interior plastic color on your vehicle. The stuff is amazing, it changes the color of hard plastic, (pvc), soft vinyl, leather , cotton, anything. Be CAREFUL its very perminant, and It a verey soild bright color that is left.
    Peace!

That's the same as vinyl dye, right? We use that on computer cases. That stuff doesn't crack or run, it's great.
