Cool Automag used for special effects in movie: The Pianist

I just rented the DVD "The Pianist" (http://www.thepianist-themovie.com/)

    Great flick!

After the movie was over, I was checking out the bonus features (Behind the scenes...) and spotted this:

Special Effects Crew using an old Classic Automag to fire special spark making balls...

Even Roman Polanski likes Automag!! LOL

Well you would be wrong to guess Perfect Circle...

They DO sell them the shells but not the contents of the spark ball....

    Very good movie!

The first part was kinda depressing, but it was nessessary to set the mood. The second half had more action and tense scenes.

This movie is not about playing the piano.

It's about how a piano player struggles to survive the Nazi invation and occupation of Warsaw Poland during WWII.

I don’t think it has LX in it…. chances are when they made the movie (actually filmed it, not released it… which can often times be years apart) LX didn’t exist. And seeing they only use 10 round pods, I bet it would not be that big of a deal to run level 7… or even earlier.

Yea I thought so too for a while Muzik. But he told us recently they just sell then the shells. And they fill em themselves. Perhaps they gave him one or he did fill one for his own display or research? But Tom says they do not produce them for them. Just sell them the shells for them.

I guess my question now would be, if they give someone two halves of a shell, how do they fill them and then seal the halves together?

They still do fill the pepper balls right?

Somehow they glue them together. I did not get any details though.

Far as I know they still do fill those Pepper balls.
