the hammer is going all the way back, it just sticks sometimes on the sear. keep in mind that the frame is being used with a marker that it was not designed for. i need to give the sear some loving.

Your velocity must be through the roof to produce sufficient blowback for 30cps. Correct me if I'm wrong since all I have to go by is experience.
Every blowback I've used does that partial cocking thing if you put two shots to close together. And that is with me pulling manual. What is your air supply? What does the gun chrono firing one shot at that setting?Comment

even though the marker does have a couple bugs, the sear is catching the bolt every time after you hear a pop, there is enough time delay between catches to chamber a ball based on the data that the racegun folk are using for load times. i am not reaching these speeds using perfect condition markers, or even high end equiepment...Originally posted by shartley

it is fully cocking every cycle, the burping noise is not the marker running out of gas, not the hammer skipping over the sear, it is cycling completley every time. the sear needs a little filing/polishing to make it fit right, i am just a little nervous dooing this unless i have a spare laying around.Originally posted by Patron God of Pirates

i guess that the significant point that i am trying to make is this is not being done from a $1000 emag w/ a $200 emagnum board.... this is being done with what is regarded as some of the crapiest equipmant around, and i feel that itself is significant. this was done with a $130 m3 frame (could have gone with the $80 plastic led), $20 bucks in parts, and a old dragun black (not the black dragun) which was obtained at no cost to me, and also a rental pirahna that was used for 2 years as a rental gun that was also free.As society and the problems that face it become more and more complex and machines become more and more intelligent, people will let machines make more of their decisions for them, simply because machine-made decisions will bring better results than man-made ones. it all depends on the air source that you feed the marker with, the marker was fairly consistant at badlandz 2 weeks ago, powered by an air america armageddon tank, firing some cheap paint. consistancy could be improved by using better paint, and a matched bore barrel. but at high rof, i could tolerate a little inconsistancy because it would lend itself to a nice spread.Originally posted by Evil Emperor
