Backstory:
I had given my original Halo A to Pevs Paintball(local pro shop actually did a mass shipment of their customers Halos for various jobs, upgrades, updates and repairs)to send in along with the big shipment.
Got it back with the B upgrade and shell upgrade/replacement even though I asked for smoke and got black. No biggie
I try out sniper1fa's rechargable batteries for the Halo. Works fine for foolin around the house and backyard firing. Went to the field and the darn thing just wouldnt work, the light would blink at me and that was it so I retired it. I go home and take it apart to see what the heck is going on and find out the board fried, The board was all black in certain areas.
I email sniper saying his battery melted as well as the wiring to the battery. He replaces it without a hitch and finds out about the 90 day warranty for me. I go to Pevs and get a printed reciept of my conversion that was done through them. Rob, being manager of the Fairfax Pevs store prints his name, number and address of the store for reference clearly on the bottom.
So I sent in my Halo B after I had it converted from an A on October 14th. Looooong wait, Called them just last week. They told me they havent even gotten to mine yet they are still working on Halo's recieved beginning of October and left my C.C. number so it could speed up the process when they got to mine and also install a RipDrive so I wouldnt be caught with a broken loader in the middle of a game again.
Finally I get a call back today. They said they were done with the repairs today and were sending it out today. I said fine, and just outta curiousity asked what was being charged. Ripdrive, new motor and new board. I said wait some of that shoulda been covered under the warrenty. He said well we woulda been happy to replace it under warrenty but claimed they dont warrenty third party workings. I calmly explained that I indeed sent it to Oddysey for the conversion just through a third party and that Pevs left contact information.
He then says he cant go tracking down this information and it was not clearly stated despite being clearly marked and noted in the letter I sent along. I said thats what the Pevs reciept was for to prove the 90 warrenty. He still says he cant go hunting this information down and I should clearly cite it next time. All this by the way was said in a very rude and hasty tone as if he did not have time for this all when I thought I had a legitimate concern. He sticks me with the bill and more or less says better luck next time.
So Here I am stuck with a pretty stiff bill almost enough to buy a whole new Halo and no one to blame, even though I really shouldnt be blaming anyone. Has anyone else had any problems with the Oddysey Halo guys?

The Rip Drive install I would complain about, not like you asked for that part is it?
