First, you canont get the parts to build your own e-mag, if you can it isn't worth it.
For an auto/minimag you will need
Mainbody
Body Rail
Grip Frame
Valve
Field strick screw
Trigger frame screw
Whatever the barrel lock pin is called z-lock?
Rail bushing (rail might include this)
Trigger rod/sear (valve may include this)
Barrel
Hoses/asa
I think thats it

Really, though, unless you're gung-ho about building one entirely from parts I don't think its worth it. You're best bet value-wise is probably to get a basic used gun that you can then upgrade.

This is true. Your probably better off buying a used gun. Unless you want somthing that your not going to find in a used gun, like a retro valve minimag with a z-grip, or another combination that you won't easially find in a used gun.

I've built a cocker once. Not from scratch of coarse, but all of the adjustments were kinda hard, especialy when I didn't know what I was doing!!

Building a mag is hardly complicated, and certainly not pointless -- particularly for those techinically inclined... you just may spend a little bit more than if you bought a complete setup

If you know what your doing, you can have a mag together in about a minute, minues the hoses, and tank. If you don't know what your doing you can probably have the thing together within 20 minutes, and if your really stuck come here and someone will be able to help you.
