This thread is about the new Evlution II.

I just picked up the new Evlution II (yes I have too much time and money to spend
) yesterday for around $85.
Next, I grabbed a tube of balls and did an impromptu drop test.
XBoard Revy w/vortex paddles
Balls = 128
Trial 1 ~ 10 seconds
Trial 2 ~ 10 seconds
Trial 3 ~ 11 seconds
Average BPS ~ 12
Gaps in string of balls = many
Evlution II
Balls = 128
Trial 1 ~ 8 seconds
Trial 2 ~ 8 seconds
Trial 3 ~ 7 seconds
Average BPS ~ 17
Gaps in string of balls = none!
HALO B
Balls = 128
Trial 1 ~ 6 seconds
Trial 2 ~ 5 seconds
Trial 3 ~ 6 seconds
Average BPS ~ 23
Gaps in string of balls = none!
Conclusion
Although louder than the HALO, The Evlution II was surprisingly very fast, consistant, and reliable (no jams whatsoever).
Evlution II is lighter than HALO B (but then again, so is my Truck
).
During the tests, my HALO had a few pauses... HALO eyes not detecting movement? I was using ALL-STARS. I switched to Red/Pink Marbs and the pausing stopped.
Evlution's off-center feed neck (the center mass of the hopper sits further back than the Rev and HALO), actually makes my gun feel better balanced.
Rear opening lid is a little funky. Opening it may be awkward for some. But once the door is open, it's a big mouth for you to dump balls in... reducing spillage.
It has a speed adjustment knob.
Excellent performance-to-price ratio!
I still love my HALO B more, but this Evlution II is a close second!
I really think if people get past the prejudice against Bass Eagle that seems to be in vogue, they'd see that this is a really good product.... but that's just MHO.
Next up, field testing with my GZ, and the ultimate test for a hopper... full auto fun with my M98 RT!
