    Eblade pnue-mag

While I'm waiting for one of those little tiny solenoids, I decided to start working on getting my eblade frame ready (Mostly just to see how easy it would be to mod it so the ram would fit)

Cut out most of the top inside the frame, left the ledge for the pancake solenoid for the ram to sit on. Drilled a 4-40 hole into the back of the ram in the thick part where the air fitting goes (stayed out of the air passage) and cut a slot for the screw so that i could adjust the ram's placement. Routed the air line under the trigger's fang and it fits great.

Since I don't have a solenoid yet, there was no point in making it electro yet, so I decided to go regular pnue-mag temporarily. Cut up a blank circuit board to the rough shape of an eblade board and got the MSV-2 mounted.

I'm going to order a new worrblade from PaintballGateway.com and do this mod again (Want a red frame, and am going to do it much neater now that I know what needs to be done) and install my electronic setup when all the parts arrive.

Here's a few pics, let me know what you think!

I agree. But otherwise keep up the good work nice for another idea for using different hardware to run a mag. No other marker can do it.

Thanks guys. when I get my new frame in its going to get sent out to be milled and will look much better inside. this was just a proof of concept I threw together in my garage in an hour or so. I've got a matching milled intelliframe with another pnuemag setup inside. so I can go regular mech, pnuemag or e-pnuemag. I can't wait until its finished, but its going to be a few weeks until the parts come in.

That's a straight up badass use of a PCB. Great job.

From what I've seen of the best pneumags posted, they usually have the MSV rod interacting with the trigger as close as possible to the top. Looks like you've got a fair bit of room to move it closer.

Other than that, sweet proof of concept! Looks like you've got toms of space to fool around in there. Love the breadboard concept too.

New frame came in, along with the Ego t-board (Just to fiddle with, if this gun works as nice as I'm hoping, I'll get a new board later on). Just have to wait a month or so for the solenoid to come in

I'll post some picture soon with the new frame after its been modified to fit the mag parts

Got a lot more work done today... Got the new frame ready for the ram install, and came up with a presidential solution as to how to mount the ram. Here is a pic of how much room there is inside the frame after cutting the top out:

Before, the ram was just held onto the "shelf" with a single screw in the back. It liked to twist and move, so i decided it needed a cradle. I was looking through my box of cocker parts looking for something thick enough to cut down to hold the ram, and it turns out the ram fits inside a 2k+ autococker front block's main banjo bolt hole PERFECTLY!

So I started cutting up the front block and came up with this:

I'm done for tonight, but tom. I will figure out how I will bolt the cradle/ram to the "shelf" inside the frame. But for now, I propped the gun up and put everything in place to give you a visual:

Great looking stuff. Those frames are perfect with so much room in them... looks like I've got something to add to my buy list.

                          Edit:

Didn't realize how cheap those frames were... got two on the way... fun things in the near future.

Keep in mind these frames don't come with anything... no trigger return magnet, no little screws or pins, nothing. But they do have TONS of room inside. You'll have to use an ego board though, the top part of eblade boards (and my ego t-board) gets in the way of the sear and ram

I was thinking of just a simple pneu setup on the first one I ordered... gonna try something different with the second, just haven't figured that out yet... I've got an old eblade parts kit so I've got many of the little bits and pieces I need.
