    ULE Feedneck Removal

Does the stock feedneck on the ULE body just unscrew?

Want to make sure before I try.

    Thanks,

    Eric

    Yes it does.
it's pretty tight, so you'll need a strapwrench and a strong arm.

heat it up with a torch or lighter momentarily ( it will not damage the coating)

Yup, I highly reccomend getting a strap wrench. I figured I was never going to use the feedneck again so I just used pliers (and it was pretty hard to use pliers, it would be easier with a strap wrench) and that wasnt smart, but I covered up the scratches with black sharpie so you dont notice them unless you look closely

I too have to get mine off.. I'm going to heat it up with a blowdryer since it's helped me work large quantities of red-locite loose.

I boiled water and stuck my body in for about 20 minutes. Then used a strap wrench to get it off with ease. Then I put on an A plus feedneck and it looks great.

hear is how i did it

i cut a bycyle inner tube put a peice around the feedneck ... clamped the feedneck in a vise and used the body for leverage ... came off pretty easy...... if you cant seem to do it with ease put a barrel on it ... simple no risk to the anno at all..

                  Thanks for all the replies.

I'll heat it up and use my strap wrench.

Just getting ready for my new Rogue Strangler Feedneck.

                  Thanks Again,
