Formula for # of shots in a tank??

is there one? i want to predict about how many shots i will get if i put the output of my tank at 500psi. i tried doing this.
    68 ci (size of tank)
    X 3000psi (tank capacity)

    Equaled 204,000

    204,000/
    500
    =408 shots

but i know thats wrong because i get around 6 hundred running at about 750 psi output. can someone please help me?!

ok for a 3000psi tank, u multiply the size by 10.

for a 4500psi tank, you muntiply the size by 15.

thats what you would do with a fixed output tank at 800 psi. i want to know how many i would get with 500 psi going out of my tank

If I'm thinking correctly, the output pressure doesn't have as much to do with number of shots as does the volume of air used. Since automags run on a fixed volume of air, differences between number of shots obtained from a 800 psi output shouldn't differ that much from that of a 500 psi output. With the 500 psi output, you'd get a few more, because each measure of air would contain fewer molecules, and simply because it takes more shots to drain the tank to 500 psi than it does to drain the tank to 800 psi. I don't really think the difference would be that great, especially at the cost (in RTs, retros, and E-mags) of no reactive trigger.

If I'm completely wrong, please don't hurt me
