Tom, would AGD make an in-line Regulator?

I would love to see AGD make an inline reg like a Side Winder or something similar. Obviously Mags dont need them, but the non-mag shooting public still seems to like other AGD stuff (warp feed, flatline).

I like the consistency of my Flatline regulator. I'd like to see a simple reg like the side winder. Slim design, side input with turnable collar, easy adjustment screw. Many of us Mag owners have other guns any way. It would be great to have an AGD reg powering my Autococker.

I know you got a lot of stuff on your drawing boards already, but I was wondering if you would ever consider it. Would any one else like to see something like this?

yeh, you want an AGD inline reg? call Air America and ask for ANY inline reg they make. they are almost identical to a 'mag reg

Nope, I've already looked into this. What you should do is look for a 47ci Flatline on eBay or in the classifieds. Should be ~ $100. Then get your local airsmith to swap the regs, and sell the 47ci tank with the old reg.

I know way back in Nov 2001 as a small group of us where standing around the AGD gun dyno this exact question was raised. Tom did not give a yes or no answer. Now, my question is, with a great reg like the Palmer Stabilizer, who would you want AGD to spend the time and money to build a reg? Since the Mags do not need a secondary reg, and the Automag reg design does not led it's self well to CO2 usage, who purpose would it serve?

BYW, if you do a search, there is a topic on this from way back.

Well we have thought about it. Problem is since we can't put it on our gun it really doesnt add to the overall product line. Our resources are better spent on something that can sell aftermarket as well as go on our products (like the Xvalve).

                        Regulated tanks...

If the mag valve doesn't need a secondary regulator, then why does everyone use a dual regualted tank? Is this my ignorance, or is it necessary?

Well ok, thanks for the answer Tom. It seemed like a good idea. I know there would be a market for them, but I guess if they're not needed for Mags, the production would out weigh the return.

Very few tanks are dual regged. Not, I have always said, the more regs the better, but you have to make sure you do not choke the gun. With a mag this is pretty tuff not to do with a seconday reg. Think of it this way... A mag wants between 700-900+ PSI. inorder to even get a seconday reg to work in those ranges the tank output needs to be between 900-1100. So why even bother? And I like to run my mags (RT and Emag) at 1000psi. That means to run a secondary reg I would have to have an tank output pressure of at least 1200psi. As long at the tank you are using puts out a consistant pressure, there is no need for a seconday reg on a mag.

Well the way I like to think about it is that no one else in 10 years has figured out how to get the reg INSIDE the gun!! LOL!!
