    Poor Mans Trigger Job

My New Dye 2X trigger Frame had ALOT of slopp in it so I set out to do a cheap harmless trigger job. (No spacers on/off valves, or trigger rods were hurt) So I wrapped a rubberband around the bottum of the trigger and around tot he back of the grip frame, suprisingly it WORKED!!!! It took all the slopp out and the side to side play, and personly I thought it helped shortan the trigger pull, Im going to do some more experiments on it to see how short I can get the trigger to go! (please don't flame me for being different)

        thats cool

I did some stuff with my benchmark like that. I taped a piece of cardboard or something behind the trigger to make it shorter. rubber bands would work much better. I eventually just took out the dremel tool and worked on it though.

I took one of those big fat rubberbands and put one end over the bottum of the trigger and then brought the rest around the grip and back to the trigger so it looks like they criss cross on the trigger, It's not the pretiest looking job but you can always take it off, im going out to hook a rubber badn so that it pulls it foward while pulling back and see if i can get it to go alittle reactive.

Sorry not to respond so fast, I was at church last night. Anyway, sounds good to me. On my DYE 2x frame I also noticed a lot of side motion. I dug around and found to real thin washers and put them on each side of the trigger and took up the slack. It does not bind up or cause any problems. Also did you get your safety to work? I had to tap the hole so I could thread the tiny allen screw in the frame. I also had to stretch the spring a little, so as to put more tension on the safety button.

when you gas up the gun, all the slop goes away. at least of my frame.

Not to be mean, but where exactly in your post did you ask a question or anything to elicit a response? Your post was just a statement. It's pretty lame of you to act all childish because people read your post and didn't care to add anything, especially since you only waited less than an hour and a half to complain about it.

NO offence inteded but this is why AO has become less interesting. Kids are pry anywhere from 70-90% of this board and kids are impatient. 1 1/2 houre is HARDLY patient. I know it's just the way that kids are bbut it's frustrating to me as someone wadding throught hte endless threads of none sin, complaints, demands for info on upcoming products, ppl asking for free stuff and ppl getting hot over stupid things.... kinda like I am now.

In all seriousness. I'm not upset I don't expect you kids to grow up RIGHT NOW. I'm just becoming old watching you guys be young and being a kid is what I wish I had done more of. Anyway, AO is a paintball encyclopedia over paintball like the world has NEVER seen before and there are bunches of kewl ppl helping others out. So just like you're dad had patients to thumb through that 4" thick encclopedia please understang that good infomation usually comes from older guys and we can't keep up with all of you all the time. Give us some credit for playing pball with you and being you're targets.... hehe.

DragonSlayer, Ya i got my safty to work it was kinda fruastrating to try and get the thing to work but I found a really thin nail and cut it down to where it will hold the spring down enough to hold the safty inplace, theonly prob. with it is that you have to be carefull taking the grip off.

mag-pbg- Yeah it is funny that thet couldn't tap the hole fo ease of the buyer. I can't remember the tap I used off hand, but I'll go by the shop and try and find it. I'll let you know so you can do yours, then the safety stays in like on the AGD piece.
