    rattle in Flatline regulator

When I rock my gun back and forth, there is a rattle in the Flatline regulator. It kind of sounds like a pin sliding back and forth. It doesn't seem to be detrimental, nor does it seem to effect performance. The reg is brand new, so I'm not sure what to think of the rattle. Is it normal? suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
    matt

that noise is the saftey bearing that cuts of air flow if the presure is released to fast from the regulator, from what i understand its supposed to keep the hose from whipping..

somone correct me if im wrong

Good to know that somone of Tom's status seeks "relief" from a sport he helped create. A sport now ruled by a single patent.

i always thought it was the on/off valve when the is no air in the tank. when there is no pressure pushing against it, it rattles.

It's a check valve used for safety purposes. It'll cut off the flow of air through the reg if you unscrew the front half of the reg while the on/off valve is open.

Front half of reg flying through air is BAD!
