AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Air leaking out back of valve at Velocity adjuster
Its either an issue that your valve needs to be oiled or your reg seat needs to be cleaned/ replaced.
Could be a very rare issue that your blow off valve needs replacing but this would need to be done by the factory.
first make sure your velocity is set below 300fps
second run oil though your air line into your gun.
Third if that doesnt work make sure your regulator seat is installed properly (one side of the reg seat will snap into the face of the regulator, the other will not)
run more oil through your gun.
If this doesnt work it could be the blow off valve needs to be replaced.
Sounds like the over-pressure relief is kicking in.
Make sure it's well oiled as was stated above.
Is this gun new to you or have you upgraded anything recently (like a level X?)
Does it go away when you turn the adjuster to lower the velocity?
ive had gun since for 8 years been flawless but has been put up a while no up grades other than hyper frame probably time for new valve assy...because i hate to give it up....thanks for your help......

im now wondering about regulator seat being installed properly will def check it out ... i do appreaciate the info...i have had gun for 8 years kinda attached to it just hate seeing it sit on shelf..
The blow-off or pressure relief is part of the regulator piston assembly. You can buy a new one from AGD pretty cheap or you might be able to get it fixed if you have a 'star' left. Before you do, pull it out and clean it (it has an oring) and re-grease the spring pack. Do check the reg seat. Once every eight years is fair.
Replace your regulator seat o-ring.. The little taperd one that snaps into place on your valve side..
If that isn't it, it may be your spring pack. But it's doubtfull.. Reg seat o-ring is prolly the cause. Usualy they get worn and no longer snap into the bead provided..
If its not overpressure due to a faulty regulator seat oring, then it is most likely a weak or worn regulator piston assembly. The original ones weren't set to as high a pressure as the newer ones. If you use a level 10 bolt or if the piston assembly has weakened with age, then they will develop a leak out the back. Get a new one and you will be fine. They are inexpensive.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
