benchy adjustible trigger stop. (works on all trigger fraims)

I have had many requests for this so i decided to post it hear instead of emailing or PM all that have asked.

First the tools that are needed.

    a 6 inch 8-32 tap.
a 6 inch starter drill bit. (i used a #29 bit for tapping but i am not sure if you can buy these. I did this at work)
A 8-32 set screw that is 1 inch long.
a drill press is perferred but a standered drill will work.
A punch to take the trigger out and a center punch to mark whare you want to drill your whole.

    Procedure:

First: take grip fraim off of gun and take grips off and take trigger out.

Second: mesure roughly an inch down the front of the grip fraim(whare you plan to drill the whole.) and then mark the center with the cinter punch.

Third: drill a whole through the guard and then procede threw the fraim behind whare the trigger goes and dont stop till you get to the center of the grip fraim.

Forth: Tap the wholes that you have just made. There are 2 wholes but you go through the first whole to get to the second whole.

Fifth: put the set screw in with the hex wrinch side facing the inside of the grip so you can adjust it later.

Sixth: put the trigger back on the fraim and put the trigger fraim back on the gun. Leave the grips off.

    Seventh: gass the gun up.

Eighth: screw the set screw till it hits the trigger and cant go any farther. Then put locktight on the screw and screw it back un till you have the trigger pull that you want.

On my rt with intellifraim i have set it whare the trigger hits the stop right after the trigger goes reactive. It is really short.

On my standerd mag with binchy 1x I have it set with a little leaway after the gun fires so it gives anough time to let the trigger out so it can recharge. But adjust it how you want.(it will work with a benchy 2x as well.)

    PICKS AT THE BOTTOM!!

    tell me what you think.

making the trigger pull on the iFrame any shorter than it already is, that's just asking for trouble.

On a benchy frame, if you implement a way to keep the trigger rod from riding up on the trigger then a trigger stop can be a very good thing.

I would agree if the i fraim was on a standerd mag. But on an rt it works fine. Think about it. if you are letting the trigger do its job you never pull it all the way back because it goes reactive sooner than when you hit the fraim. All i did was put a stop that is about 2 mm after it goes reactive, maybe 1 im not sure. I have used it this way for about 2 cases of paint and havent had the slightest problem. I have had abut 5 balls bust but that was because i tripped in a gaim and my hopper was jarred and a ball broke in the hopper. You can imagin the rest. I understand whare your comming from thow.

Had this same mod years ago on my Benchy frame. Did the trick. Also had a set screw in the rail to push the sear rod down lower on the back of the trigger. Going through the trigger guard like you did is indeed the best way to do this on a benchy I think. I have some picts of mine somewhere...

Mine was done by Warped Sports before I got it.

any way to do it withouth goin through the guard?.. also, is there any reason why i wouldnt do this to a classic mag with i frame?

The only other way I know of is by going through the back of the grip. wich I think looks worse than going through the guard.

It shouldnt hurt a classic with intellifeed but you have to play with the adjustment for a while then loctite is so it cant come out. It wont really help with the I frame thow. I did it cuz I was bord and had the trigger frame in my car one day at work.
