I have heard about a ULE grip frame twice here on the forum, but have yet to see it. I know theres a ULE rail, is the frame similar? Any links or pictures or even explainations would be great. Thanks guys.
Can someone tell me about the ULE grip frame

So they're not currently for after-market sale from AGD. Some of the newer standard Emags have them right?WE ARE DEADCELL, AND WE WILL RUN THROUGH YOU

my brother and RoqueFactor both have ULE-mags. The hump was taken off the back of the grip frame, the inside of the gripframe was also lightened, and the rail looks like a skeleton. They were annodized in a red-acid wash, but only 16 of them were ever made, but yes, AGD did make them.
that brings me to ask a question... since there's no hump on the gripframe of the emag in the following pic, does that mean that the rail is also milled too?Comment

I have one
The grip frame and inside of the body rail are milled out to the max.

Could we get a definitive answer on this? Are the newer E-Mags shipping with ULE Rail and/or Grip Frame?
Let's not pread rumors. I hope it's true because I'm ordering mine right after Christmas.

Seams to me, I read on the X mag thred somewhere that just the bod rail was going to be milled. Not as much as the ULE but enough to bring the overall weight of the XMAG down. I don't think this is a stock option for standar Emags though.

It was all the later production colored emags that had the ULE rail and grip. Some rumor was 6 ounces lighter than than the stock emag. No i think you still get the regular grip and rail now on a black emag. Not the ULE. Not certain but I think that is correct. The ULE is being used on the X mags for sure.Comment
