    Thumbs up

Dude, I love what you've done with your mag, looks
fabulous. One Question 9 may be stupid but nonetheless) where did you get those grips for your Y? I have 2 and both remain stock because I can't find alternates now you may have reversed another grip to make it conform but I'm not sure it'd be comfortable for me. Any advice??

Hey all, I'm new to the forums, but not so much the mags. Here's a couple of mine and one of my brother's.

68 Automag (It's about 12yrs old - no stars!) It looked different earlier, but I switched some parts out. Still shoots like a champ!

well, let's start with my mag:

here's what it looked like when i got it

and here's what it looks like now

the rail started as a classic automag rail. i decided to put it on a bit of a diet.

    then there's the nanococker:

it started out as a plain jane pgp

here it is now, after a year.

here's a closeup of my shoddy workmanship inside the gripframe.

i decided to build brackets to hold the 3 way in place rather than use set screws. i'm very happy with my decision.
this marker took a year to complete becasue it sat on a shelf in pieces for a good portion of that year. i had finished most of the interior work and was soldering the feedneck and ram nut on the body when the two body tubes shifted out of alignment. this happened because i was an idiot and didn't calmp them together. i then sat them on a shelf and pondered m next move... for several months. i fanally got back out in the shop and decided to just desolder everything, break it all down to individual tubes. after that, the thing went together like a dream, i had it all soldered up within 20 minutes. now i just have to get the trigger tuned. (anyone who is selling the small pneumatic tubing, please get in touch with me. thanks)

    sorry for the huge pics.

Red face My Old School Collection

Here are some old and one new marker that I call my own. Not a lot of flash, but my 68Automag has been shooting since the early 90's and seen a lot of action.

Clockwise from upper-left: 1992 68automag with a taso pro SS barrel, foamie-less bolt (those used to be noteworthy), custom fore-grip, and benchmark frame; 2005 EMag (stock); CCI Phantom I won at a tournament in the 90's and re-rigged for stock class play; Sheridan PGP with custom grips, quick change knurl, extended feed neck, and a Cooper-T speed-demon bolt.

3 out of 4 of these markers are over 13 years old and are not only servicable classics, I still play with them. These probably represent some of the best markers ever made (IMHO). How many ION's or even Angels will survive 10+ years of play?

Over the years, my only regret is that I didn't keep ahold of my 1980's polished brass Sheridan Pirhana Long Barrel.
