1st # is bolt diam ,, 2nd # is threads per inch
8/32 = #8 bolt ,, 32 threads per inch
15/32-32 = bolt dia 15/32 ,, 32 tpi
10/24 = #10 bolt ,, 24 tpi
its that simple?
awsome.
this is in inches correct.
so if i get a .08 then that is #8 then just count the threads in and inch?
thanks again,
KNM

No its not in inches. Its the bolt size number. so #8 is actually 0.164" and #10 is 0.190" Once you get past #12 the size does refer directly to the inch measurement.
But yes the number of threads is how many threads are in one inch, so you can just count them.
should i just google a chart?

Just look up the mpa-3 on the manufacturers website. Its either fabco air or a clippard part. I cant remember which. I know the catalog on whichever it is will tell you the specs on the thing including the sizes of the fittings they accept.
got it thanks for the help guys.
