Currently dialing in the trigger geometry on both triggers, should be ready for production soon.

Sounds good. Your triggers have always felt nice.
Thanks.
So it looks like were ready to start production!

I have some very minor adjustments to make, then I need to setup new machining files for production and were off to the races!
Thanks for everyone's patience on this project.
I'll send out private messages to everyone this weekend to get your final orders dialed in so I can set up invoices.
Thanks

Sweet. Will we get both triggers?

Doing any special engraving on the panels like a bunch of tiny Z's or any of your previous AGD-esque designs?

Looks pretty awesome luke.

Everyone on the list should have received a private message this morning except for kim pham I sent you an email..
I’m going P Blade trigger, T-Rex, P90 and doing the full sleeper’d Z2.
Payment sent and thanks for doing these luke!

So I had to machine the LPR housing down because it was a smigen to large in diameter because it sits so far forward in the frame.
Stripped down weight of the Z2 is 5.4 ounces.
Complete build weight with pneumatics including: frame, trigger, return magnets, trigger pin and screws, safety assembly, T-Rex, LPR, Hose, grips, and grip screws, complete ready to install is 12.6 ounces.
Grips and Z2P trigger
No short stroking this trigger!
Any of you 21 want something other than those huge, blank, smooth grip panels? I know I'd like some textured design to give my digits extra traction while making the Z2 even more unique.
- Like one of Luke's previous designs: all Hexes, AGD Lion, AGD Hex Circle, et cetera.
- Or perhaps something new and original (please excuse the quick phone drawings):
First off, I think it needs a design running perpendicular to the grip hold orientation to give some friction whilst holding.
1) I like this with a short, wide "Z2." It can be smooth with just the Z-2 inner area lined to give a small friction area, or the Z-2 smooth with the surrounding in a Hex pattern or such.
2) A bigger Z-2 on an angle and again either the characters or background being textured?
3) Maybe Z-2 within Hexes on an angle with a textured background?
4) Or put the characters vertical so it's easier for Z virgins to see and try to comprehend.
5) A tall Z-2?
6) Something like this - a bunch of rows of continuous Z2's - but executed much better?
7) Perhaps little Z2/Lc/X/Hexagons arranged in a pattern like diamond plate steel or the Louis Vuitton logo?
---no scribbles here---
Luke told me there's time for this if something can be agreed upon since the panels will be the last pieces produced. I know it's a long shot to get a group consensus but maybe something will grab Luke's attention. So maybe then the option to go bland or graphic on your panels.
C'mon, let's make these boring panels a little bit more special for the Z2! (And save me another $60 for custom engraving...)
I'm in for any design, but my preference would be the straight lines. Those seem easiest to match with multiple different builds.
If you guys can settle one a single pattern I'll do it for free for anyone on the list (That wants it).
So throw some ideas out there, I would prefer some type of geometric pattern.
the staggered lines are cool. I'd lengthen them a bit so that the top and bottom ones extend a bit closer toward the end of the panels and the middle one lengthened just to keep the look. and if you wanted to get fancy and put a little "Z2" inside a hexagon at the bottom rear of each panel, that'd be pretty sweet.
Yup. That's the engraving I had on my old Z panels. Maybe spread a bit wider across the panel this time.
Again, the design goes with almost any build.
Also, I realize I'm talking a lot, but I really will go with anything.
The big diamond is also cool. I'm trying to imagine it slightly parabolic so it kind of flows with the curve of the trigger.
I like what's on the green Z, it's along the vein of what I was thinking in my sketch 1 above.
However, maybe connect the central line to the others with a short diagonal? Connecting them actually makes it a combined, stylized, elongated Z and 2.
So we're on our way, LPR housings were machined yesterday and I started the first and largest program on the frames this morning. I'll be running that first program for several days. Still a ton of work to do but I'll stay on it 7 days a week until it's done.
I am making extra so these will be a stock item.
can't hardly wait for mine!
So this is a mockup of the previous design like on the above green Z.
How about just two extra little lines like this?
