is your hopper clear, if u get a black 12vl it wont do that. well atleast mine doesnt. if u have a single trigger it is easier to half stroke, that is probably your problem with chopping balls. i have a double trigger on my mag and i dont chop paint. u might want to get a foamy too.

    Post Chopping balls...solution???

Hey guys i just need you to fill me in on some ways to keep my mag from choppin balls. last saturday I chopped 4 balls and because of it my marker was down and couldnt do anything about being bunkered by this cocker weilding....jerk (would like to use another word) and now i have 3 bruises on my neck because of it. Anyway to make a long story short i was pissed and decided never to go back to that field (since there was a 10 foot limit and the guy broke the rules and nothing was done about it) ....not the greatest first impression (new field). Anyway, my revvies not working cuz the sun trips the sensor and it just spins all day long...u think i need a new revvie??? Mabe a foamy bolt?? i cant afford a warp with intelliframe just to exclude that option...what should i do?? please help guys.

chopping is due to you firing faster than what the your hopper can handle. Get a VL 12v rev which can feed upto 12 bps.

put some black electrical tape around the outside of the hopper where the electric eye sits or color the inside in with a black magic marker, get a new board, or get a new shell. If it is a regular mag, then I don't think you need a new revolution. Although you may need new batteries.

Then make darn sure you are not short stroking.

Still problems: extended nose bolts are supposed to help with chopping.

And as for bunkering...do unto others before they do unto you

It's easier to short-stroke with a double trigger. Maybe you short-stroked a bit, that would cause chopping.

I don't know too much about it, but Brass Eagle recently upgraded their revolution, to a new board as well as a polycarbonate body instead of a plastic one. I was on warpig.com and they were testing their improved 12v against their old one. Here's a link:

    I hope that helps.
