Regarding a Michigan AO meet.

Ok, I was thinking about it... And since there are some very nice fields in the area... I was wondering how many would actually consider coming to a Michigan AO-Meet. If there is a decent amount of people that are willing to drive to SE-Michigan, then I will commence negotiations with the local field owners. I am looking at Summer 2k4, AFTER Shatnerball. Please throw down opinions and what not regarding this idea.

Perhaps Tippmann World Challenge at Hell Survivors? It's in September and there was a rumor floating around about TK attending and being a General for the World team. (No clue on the accuracy of that).

We actually looked into doing this a few different times. Funk talked to most of the local fields and not a one of them was interested in giving it a shot.
I'm pretty sure we could round up a good attendence if we could get a location. Maybe even a special guest or two as well.

Sorry, but good luck with that. The owner bashes mags more than anybody in the area. I (and many others) won't even play at his fields anymore.

Sorry, I used go there on a regular basis. But I can't stand the guy. I won't get into it here, but lets just say that I'm not a big fan of his business practices either.

Wyn!!! Ha, yeah Jimmy is a prick... period. But, if there is money to be made... he will let us use the field. Although, he will not publicize the Event. All of which would have to be done by us. (Wyn, we are going to play at the indoor on the 7th of December... you interested? Funk and Rachel will be there..) Futureball wouldnt be a bad location though and the only other fields in the area are Hell and the new gay one in Taylor, and HELL sucks. But yeah... Im going to look into it and see how much money would be coming out of MY pocket.
