Works tha same in tha horizontal plane as well.
I have a tendency to charge into bunkers full-bore & I did this one time not knowing a smallish kid was leaning into it on the other side.
I'm still not sure to this day which was funnier-
him flying backwards about 20 feet into the middle of the field or seeing him get lit 1 sec later by like 3 of my teammates.

At this one indoor field by me, they have the bunker "knock" rule. There were 3 kids in the back left bunker, so me and another kid charged at it, and checked it so hard, they went flying, it was really funny, they said they were happier we knocked them on their arse, rather then shooting them I think it was their first time out.
