Whoa! What's this then?! Beware-HUGE pics

Hehe, Ok so I've been working on this all semester. It's still not quite done, but getting close enough to post pictures.

Currently there are no plans to actually produce this, mostly because this is still a first run prototype. I think I'm going to need to build another one with many little but neccisary changes. Ahh well needed something to do this summer anyways.

Think I'm going to post pictures in small doses. Lets see if you can guess what I'm doing.

Yep you got it right. Darn, I was hoping that it would take longer for people to figure it out.

*edit: I designed it before I saw AGD's patent. This isn't a horrible orriginal design, but it's the first actual aplication I've seen.

            cool

I like the window sides. makes it easier to see what it's doing. good for prototyping and looking for problems.

what are you using for control? what are you using for power?

paintballman_13 - it's a protoype. the first test model. he can worry about weight when he gets it more refined.

Control: Warp electronics dependant on Intellifeed.
Power: I was planning on using an Emag battery with an integrated charger, but the charger is being more difficult than I had planned. I may just take off some of the cells till I can charge it. The 10.8v battery I have on my warp right now might work well.

Right now, yes. However, there is alot of metal that I can take off still.

The speed of it will be dependant on how much voltage I can safely run through those motors. I expect to be able to do at least 20, but I haven't tested it yet.

                  Legos are the best!

So far so good. Keep up the good work. So are you working with agd on this or is it a private venture?

AS of this moment this is a project strictly for my class (Design II). I've funded it myself but AGD has helped out some.

Right now it's looking like it'll hold right around 150, maybe a touch less.

There are, however, some major things that I need to redesign. Part of that will include making it a touch wider, thereby it'll hold more.
