So far I know that I am going to get an x valve. My question to thouse of you who already have xvalves and ULT's is: Can you bounce it easily? and can you walk it? and if you can walk it how fast?
x valve w/ ult Bounce? walkable?

I have an old school RT w/ ULT, LvL X, Intelli, and a DynaFlow. All of it was fine tuned by Brad "Q" Nestle from Paintball Maxx. I can walk it, but only to around 12bps max (atleast with my revvy). It is walkable, with a lot of practice. The real problem is getting it to walk around 13+bps. It takes too much force to get it going anyfaster. I probably only average 10bps; you MUST get a rhythm, otherwise you won't walk it. Keeping the rhythm is difficult. Honestly, I can get my RT to go reactive around 12bps and it is ALOT easier, not worth the trouble to try and walk it.
Anyway, If you get an X valve, I would HIGHLY recommend a Dynaflow regulator. I run it at 900-1100 psi on my RT and have tried it on a viking at 230 or so. Preformed flawlessly in all conditions. Amazing unit.
In short, it isn't walkable in the sense a viking or timmy is.Comment

I can walk mine. It isnt that hard, it just isnt practical.
Bouncing, others can do it, I cant really do it with mine tho.Comment

this is twelth post i have seen with this topic. But here is my $0.02. ULT's are walkable but the setting needs to done very well. And it will work better if the pressure is 900+ psi. but it is still a hard walk and dont expect to go Z-Man on ppl. As for bounce I have never heard of a Mech gun bouncing.I am a declared Carb lover.

My friend's ULT'd Xvalve'd mag is walkable to a point. We were messing around with it one day and another friend walked it around 9-11 bps. It had some major reactivity going on (god knows why, we were just using a preset tank) and he had installed some trigger stops to take the slack out of it. So with prper tuning and adjustments, and some somewhat strong fingers it is kind of walkable, but not electro walkable

I get a little bit of bounce with my ULT sometimes. I've got 5 shims in it and a 800psi preset tank. If I had an adjustable, I'd probably be able to get it sweetspotted.Comment

walking the ult is all based on how many shims you have. Mags fire quicker once they've been firing for a moment. For example, I can't just pick up the mag and walk it; however, if I get into a rhythm with it, I can.
Just my observations.Comment
