CCM Stiffi Bore sizer removal tool

I made this out of a 3/4" and 1/8" dowel, I believe. Now you can make one too. It's 10" long with a 7" groove.

This is my first time posting photos.

      very well

It works very well. If the sizer is really stuck, you may need to put a screwdriver or something into the groove after it has been inserted into the bore sizer. This will keep the tool spread apart and give you leverage.

Better than cutting a groove in the side of my Tac-One, eh?

what was that saying, necessity is the mother of all invention? It'sa better idea than buying an RPG exile or Karta mainbody to get my CCM sizers out, heck, I should make one for myself. have you thougtht of putting like a bike handlebar grip on the uncut end of it? might make for easier gripping. you could also make it like a reverse clothes pin and put a sliding collar on it that slides the thing apart as you slide the collar back
regardless, it's a great idea, i'll be hitting michaels for dowels this evening !

          another good saying

I've been watching Mythbusters and I'm going with "Keep It Simple, Stupid"- so far it works pretty good as is and I hope I don't need it so often that I need to dress it up.

Good luck, it's an easy project. After twisting the tendons off of all my fingers, you can imagine the feeling the first time I used the tool.

Bring a sizer with you to the store.

You need to squeeze it together so it will fit into the sizer and past the threads. Then let it open up and engage the holes in the sizer, and twist.
