To get everything to fit I had to make the slot a bit longer and make a grove for my air hose.

I also had to modify the sear. I cut and moved the leg on the sear to give me some more clearance between the MPA-3 and the Sear leg.

Look a pretty tight fit but no problems here! I know its a bad picture but I was limited to the light I could use.

The MSV-1 I placed right behind the trigger where the safety WAS! I used an a allen screw to hold the MSV in place. I also drilled and taped the trigger for a Allen screw. You can barely see it in the pics but I use it to adjust the contact point on the MSV.

I set the MPA right behind the MSV. I also made a block that bolts to where the trigger switch would go. I use a allen bolt to hold the MPA against the frame. I also use a QEV, It just cycles so much faster with one I also made a grove from the QEV to the MSV for the air hose to fit into.

There we go a PneuMag!!! I have over a year of play on this setup and about 50+ cases of paint ran thru it. The only things I have had to work on is the carrier oring(worn out) and now my bump stop (worn out) Thats the only problems I have ever had with it.

I have to thank you for the pictures. All of the other setups I have seen have been tighter and neater and as a result, a little confusing in some places. Your setup has actually helped to clear up a couple of things that I hadn't quite figured out. I am presently waiting on parts to start my Pneu-mag. The only difference between mine and all the others I have seen is that mine is going to be in a Y-Grip. Pictures will be taken as I build it so that others can benifit.

As for Function > Form, well it doesn't have to be pretty to good.

Maybe I'm an idiot (or just not very educated on the subject matter, doesnt make a difference at the moment) but the pics/step by step are helping me put some things together in my head...Now if only I had the basic knowledge of pnuematics (aka : knowing wtf a mpa3 is) to attempt something like this on my own.

Did you find any benifits to using a vert frame? They seem quite a bit more spacious.


Edit : How required is a ULT kit? If I was to do this I'd really rather use a 68 valve and co2.

I cant tell from the pics, but did you cut the MPA-3 down or did you leave it full length?

The fact that he talks about moving the seer leg, I would say no it's not cut down. I looked very hard at the photos and it's a little blurry but I don't think that it's been cut down. I could be wrong though.
