Lvl 10 Carrier Change In Hot Weather

My nephew used my customized RT Pro today. Something interesting I noted was that he was experiencing bolt stick. I had forgotten that temperature and humidity seem to affect the Lvl 10.

I checked the fit of the Lvl 10 o-ring and it seemed tight. I needed to go up one carrier size to the 2.5 carrier (from the 2.0) and that solved the issue. When I originally setup the marker, I was playing in 40 degree weather. Today was in the mid 80's and we were playing in the sun.

Anyway, just FYI for anyone out there.

Metals do expand and contract so tolerances will change. Good to notice these things.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I just wanted to say good post. I was playing today and experienced a bolt stick. The last day i played it was around 70* today it was 85ish and very humid. When i came home i went up on the carrier (which would leak prier to today). Keep up the good post guys and gals!

I'm glad that the post was of assistance. I actually rolled it up into my latest Chronicles too. For some reason, I had forgotten that, every year, I always needed to retune the Lvl 10 when the seasons changed.
