For thoose with Stock Centerfeed Xmag breechs...

well someone said I should post this since I typed it up anyways....

Xmag centerfeed modules accept cocker diameter pressfits. They are the same size, however you cannot just push one in! The difference is that the xmag only goes 1/4th ish into the breech cockers go 1/2th ish into the breech.

Where to find a new neck:
WGP might have some laying around calling them might score you one,
However I like the FBM hooker necks, I wouldnt get it from thier shop. If you message thier ebay name you can get it at a lower cost, MAKE IT CLEAR that you will do your own install. They do install it for a fee and that is a way im sure some people go but my past dealings with FBM lead to long shipping times. http://myworld.ebay.com/p8ntbl144/

Now if you dont like the FBM or WGP option you can find your own neck, It MUST have this criteria:
    .873-.878 in Outer diameter
~.578 in of useable length(threads dont count if you want it to be as study as possible)

BEFORE we continue, do this at your own risk! Please be safe also.

    Remove old neck Ghetto way:
To get the current neck off without destroying it is rather hard, never dont that before lol. I just drill a whole though the neck stick an allen through the hole put a vice on the allen and pull and wiggle and over the course of a day you can wiggle it out, taking breaks to post of course! Throwing it on the stove and freeze from time to time seems to help free it looser, but dont stove it too long!

I'd try that first, you may not need to put a hole in the old feed neck.

    Prep the new neck:
You gotta cut the new neck down a ways, just use the old neck for comparasion.

Ghetto way to push it in:
Heating the module on the stove a lil and throwing the neck in the freezer before helps it glide in easy dont leave the module on the stove too long, just get it a lil bit hot gotta love thermal expansion!

Use a piece of wood on top of the neck align the neck, put some crappy bolt into the breech, hammer the wood to push it in.

    Pics!

Press fit things can be turned while pressed in with enough force. However haw i did mine was i have an old autococker bolt and i put that in the chamble incase it starts trying to go off center the bolt stops it.

Ah. I've seen other pics, just none in the raw I guess.

Is it worth more as it is, or do you ever consider having it custom milled? There's a lot of meat on there.

I will get you some close ups of the inside as soon as I can.

You cut off the (angel) threads, and dremel the bottom of the feedneck into the shape of the bottom of the old one so it conforms to the inside of the breech. (Pics explain it better and I just did) Use red locktite to hold it in place.
