My dads misfits tribute concert...

Well, this saturday was my dads misfits cover bands first actual performance. They were headlining it with good bands behind them including Death by a Celloist, Actress by Accident, Faucetmouth, and Hopewell. I did the lighting. It went great, and they raked in 1400 profit. It was really weird seeing him up there with the misfits makeup/clothing on and a huge devil lock coming down his face

Whenever we get some good stills from the video I will post them. Very cool event.

It was at our local park, and Ranger Boats (mabe you heard of em?) donated a HUGE tent and some other people donated monstrous semi trailers for a stage.

Dont wanna forget, but there name is Mishaps. Didnt realize it till they were in costume, but damn, he looks/sounds just like him with the makeup and stuff...kinda creepy. My dad was doing lead vocals and rhythm (guitar)

There set was about 1 - 1:30 hours long. Played 22 or so songs. And forgot to mention, all the money went to my school to help send the band to the Cotton Bowl. Good thing the band director and other teachers werent there for there set... lol.
So, who likes the misfits?

Man, I wish my dad was that cool. I love the misfit and wish I was old enough to actually see them in concert(not the new misfits but the real ones with Danzig).

Squid, where in Arkansas are you? I'm about 25 minutes north of L.R. I love the Misfits, and I'd love to see your dad's band. Let me know when they're going to be playing next. Talk to your dad and see if they might be playing @ Juanita's in L.R.--that place rocks. I saw Seether there last weekend--excellent show!

Thats about half of them off the top of my head. Were about 2 hours and 45 minute drive from little rock. Im not sure where there gonna do there next show, but it should be within a couple of hours to you.

I also wish that I could see the Misfits before Glenn went and did danzig.

When I find my lights/set list I will list all of the songs. Same goes for pics when we get some stills.

What's the name of your dad's band? I wish I got to see the old Misfits as well, but it's still fun to go see the new Misfits. I'll see them again Halloween.

My buddy(s) also play in a cover band (they do lots of Misfits), they recently played a show and i got some good pics.
