    I can sign my own waivers now :)

    9 hours 47 mintes into my 18th year of my life.

    I can now:

    Buy Tobacco
    Buy Pornography
    Buy a firearm (after applying for a licence of course)
    Sign Contracts
    Get Married
    Die for my country (just sent in my SSS forms)
    and best of all sign my own paintball waivers


    But I still can't legally buy alcohol.

                  Be tryed as an adult,

                  Lose all your money in Vegas,

                  Work full time doing hard labor,

                  Get fully screwed by the government on your taxes,

                  Give away half your stuff to your x wife,

                  Remove parental control rights and visitation if so disired,

                  The abiblity to donate your body parts.

                  That's all I can think of right now.

                                              huh? Sex is legal for minors... In new jersey its a 4 year rule for statutory rape. (no more than 4 years seperating people)... but minors can have sex... If I'm wrong I should look at the laws more carefully....

                                                          Being 18 is not all that great. There are a few good parts, but mostly you have all of the legal responsibillities of adults while all the adults around you treat you like a child. 21 is where it is at. Drinking, pistols and concealed carry permits. Being 18 is like being a "baby" adult. But hey, go celebrate with your friends at a strip club. Thats always fun. Happy Birthday
                                                          It came to a point in my life when it was either pay the rent or buy paintball gear. I think I made the wise choice. If anyoneone needs me I'm livin in a van down by the river.
