Has anyone ever played w/ the J&J EDGE 2 piece barrel system?

I was at the Pursuit Cup today and picked up a J&J EDGE 2 piece barrel system w/:

    .688 back
    .691 back
    .933 back
    14" tip
    10" tip
    8" tip

Looks great and is very clean. I have not shot it yet.

i have never heard of the EDGE, but do you think these can be used with the full tilt system?

It was new to me also. Looks alot like the full tilt, but the back has different bores. All aluminum. I wish I could compare it to the freak kit but I never used one for the mag.

Deal or Steal? I paid 135 for it. The kit retails for 150 for the 3 backs and one tip. I paid 115 for the kit and 20 for 2 other lengths. I wish I can find a pic. But www.paintball-discounters.com has them. http://paintball-discounters.com/cgi...40102510614.cb

Nice. I will get a pic as soon as possible.

Well, I have to find a digital camera first. Might take a day or two.

I think it works with the existing tips. I didn't buy the kit, but J&J offered me the kit to go with my existing barrel when I called and asked about it a couple months ago. They sell it as three backs and tip, and you can get stainless backs as well. I got two stainless backs to complement the one I already had. I still think the freak system is more versatile. Switch guns just buy a new back. With the J&J you need to by the whole kit over more or less. You also only get 3 sizes.
