Well its not quite that simple, since everytime you fill it, the pressure will decrease some. I use a 2 tank method. I use one scuba tank until it gets to about 2200psi, then I start to fill with that one first and top if with the fresh tank to get it real close to 3000psi.
Using this method, 4 people can play for the day on 2 tanks. You will not get a true 3000psi fill everytime, but I just deal with at and fill after every game or every other game.

Oh and RT, scuba tanks come in 50cf, 80cf, 100cf, and I think 120cf, but no 88cf that I know of.
Oh and another thing, the math does not work out all that simply, since scuba tanks are measured in the volume that the air inside the tank would occupy at 1 atmosphere and HPA tanks for paintball are measured using their physical volume.
Now that the physics lesson is done for the day I need more coffee........
