    Just got Photoshop....got any tips?

    I just got Photoshop 7.0 and I dont really know what Im doing with it. Im probably going to read through the help section, but I dont learn as well without a tutorial. Whats the best way to learn this program? Just start missing with pics until I figure the stuff out? hehehe

              Try to stay away form lotsa filters... they make it look worse

                  I just screwed around with photoshop untill i figured some stuff out.
                  As you can see from my sig below, i didn't figure out much.

                          anyone using ps tutorials is a pansy. Play around with all the tools and options and filters, get a feel for what each one does.

                          Admittedly, I'm awful with photoshop, BUT I TAUGHT MYSELF TO BE AWFUL... erm...

                              Thats not good if taht is all you use. BUt if you take waht you learn to make your own stuff then it is cool.
