ok heres the deal

Tom had asked about a rare nelspot and I thought I had

come across one in a deal I made a while ago, but it turns

out not to be the marker. but it did re-spark my desire to

restore them, so I will be posting pictures of the resto

and asking for help from anyone willing to give info

I want to keep these for a display with a pair of

new old stock pg bolt actions I have on the wall.

glass beading is similar to sand blasting but instaed of sand it uses small particals of glass and aluminum oxide to remove unwanted materials such as rust and paint.

it has advantages over sand blasting because it will not distort thin metal as easily as sand blasting will

the disadvantage is that the media costs ALOT more than sand does.

bead blasting does a better job in my opinion, take far less time then the other media such as sand
