I need your input on a new Emag Battery Pack!

Three pictures of the same perspective is a bit excessive, especially when you're using such large pics. -BlackVCG

from the judge in the WDP v Sp case.... " i find it significant that aside from a somewhat limited notebook produced by gaston, the four named inventors offer NO documentation of there work or there contributions to the conception or reduction to practice of the claimed invention"

Since it's lighter, cool...but I don't really have a problem with the current pack. But I think you already knew that

Looks like a good way to handle making the battery pack smaller. Sorry, I don't photoshop.

It looks like a good step in the right direction. Would it be possible to get a side by side comparison of the two packs to get a better idea of how much has changed?

The 1/2 might be too much of a deterent fro some people but as you said it's still in testing. Good luck with this project. I'm sure that it will be great in the end.

well, data did 3000 not too long ago, and didnt drain the battery. thing was, i estimate he only had 60-70% charge left, since he hadnt charged it since he got it from me a month or so ago.
capacity really shouldnt be a big issue.

I'll play around with it... get some quick ideas for milling, etc. You say this is about half the size of the original battery pack...
Like Bob said: Is it possible to make it more like a regular grip (cylindrical)? (I guess I should ask you, Sniper- is it possible to make the battery round?)

This is a quick job showing the size comparison.

PS. Is it possible to do the round one in the center? Just make the battery longer to compensate for being slimmer?

                        design looks finished to me

I like the base design, maybe round the front of the top part a little more on the face, and maybe some teardrop or diamond mill shapes in the side just for effect and minor lightening

I like the oval shaped really, makes the Emag look flow really well.

the only thing i see a problem with is the 1/2 battery life. i hope your furter testing is better .

I just sold my E-Mag but here is my opinion. I would have killed for a more ergonomic grip. I think you should work towards a grip that is comfortable and looks good on the gun. What you really need to do is photoshop it onto a gun then play with shapes that can accomodate your battery until you find a happy medium.

I think that this is what you need to work on. Intead of moveing the smaller battery towards the back of the mounting block, move it towards the front. Behind the battery, make the rest of the material (like the dovetail mount) even width with the trigger frame.
