I will be at the field starting to get things together around 9am. I would like to see people start showing up around 10am, so we can get in a good day of play. field normally closes between 4 and 4:30, in the past john has kept it open a little longer for larger groups.
reasons you should show up
1) i, susan, took the time to organize this.. do me a favor and show up and enjoy a day of paintball with other AOers
2) you get to meet AO Nightmare
3) sammo will have the kapp flame matrix with him.. thats worth the trip in itself
im sure I will think of more.. but those are some pretty neat reasons..

jon said in another thread that if we can get at least 50 people to pre-register for this event that maybe he and tom can come out for it. nothing is set in stone, but hey, lets try to get at least 50 people together. If jon and tom dont show up, their loss.. and we will still have an awesome time.
news for 8/28/03
on top of having a great time with other AOers, I will be lending my y-gripped, ULT equipped mag out to people to try. so they can get a feel for a y-grip and the ULT. riot[z-grip] will also be lending out his z-gripped mag equiped with a ULT for people to try out as well.
so, when you attend, not only do you get the chance to have a great time with board members, you get a chance to try out other members setups.
If any of you can handle a pre-reg fee (lets say $25, which will go to cover your air and field fees) please let me know. the more people we prereg, the more it ensures you are going to show up
Heres the low down.
I spoke to John @ cape cod paintball, and he is more than happy to host AO NE IV for us. Prices are as follows:
$25 - this covers all field fees, and all day air
$65 - price per case for paint. they are currently, and plan to be shooting draxxus paint. (regardless of the paint they will have on field the day of the event, price stays the same)

Now, I know some of you are out of state. For those of you that wish, My apartment is open to you if you wish to stay here the night before, or a few days before the event. I have couch space and floorspace available. its going to be bring your own pillow and blanket if you take me up on this offer.

I also plan to provide refreshments, drinks only, at the field. sorry guys, no beer allowed on the field.. but I do plan to rape stop and shop of all the powerade/gatorade that they have.
