OK, I tried the flour in the barrel trick and shot a paintball each time-here is what I found out:
First ball down looks as though it took most of the flour with it indicating that the ball is too large for the barrel. This is PMI premium in a brand new DYE Excel 14"
Second ball down does the complete opposite! I recoat the barrel, fire, and notice there is flour, no flour, flour, no flour, indicating the ball jumped around, meaning it was too small, and it was the exact same paint!
In any case, there were no two lines down the barrel. I really want to keep this barrel, as I don't think it is a problem with the barrel. I need to try out different paints or something. I am looking for consistency.
Ok, next question, as someone else asked...
Could I get a minimag body(cause it looks cool) and put it on my automag without ANY problems, so the only change would be cosmetic? I want to keep the gun's reliability solid.
Another question, how do you take off the body? Is it thats screw at the top of the trigger? My friend shot paint and it hit my gun and I need to clean between the rail and body...are there any parts that fly out?
any help is very much appreciated. Thanks,
-Dave
