Can I get my stock Automag to be in runaway mode?

I have an Automag with Pure energy 45k nitro tank and an AGD intellframe. I have been reading about the runaway mode on RT's and wondered if there is any way to get my automag to be in runaway mode?

no, that is a feature of an rt, and not possible with a stock valve. you can not modify your current valve to be like the retro valve either.

yes a retro valve would do the job, lol. i just want to let you know somthing. when the gun is in "runaway mode", you can't shoot paint because all it will do is chop :)

A friend of mine has a old Smart Mag (Smartparts Valve) that can hit a small run away mode 4 - 5 rnds if you find the right spot. It's really hard to find. The mag has the orignal sear that would be about 7 or 8 years old. It was when the mag would fire on it's own that he decided to change the sear out.

u cant find a runaway mode like the rt but ona well broken in classic mag u can get the trigger to almost bounce like an rt. the trigger will be so smooth it requires such little force to pull.

My classic mag must be 4 years old and yesterday when i was playing I pulled the trigger and somthing weird happened it fired off 3 rounds in 1 tenth of a second. I have a regular valve. This might be runway mode for the 3 shots.

A well used sear can some times miss the bolt. That's usually a good sign it's time for a new sear.

Mags will go runaway if you have a worn down bolt.

My mag does it if i REALLY want it to , but there's no point in it .

Just get fast on the trigger and don't shorstroke.

After a year of working on learning my mag's trigger i could do 12bps without shortstroking ( and did so ingame )

i have a smart mag and yes you can put it in runaway mode ive done it before and many times more. so far ive noticed that yes you do chop ball in runaway mode but not as much in the smart mag than the RT. and second it will only work (on my gun) with a double trigger and compressed air. hope this helps

ok, lol, i'm sorry but this just can't happen. the trigger does not kick back on a standard automag. the runaway mode you people are refering to is just caused by your finger getting in to a rythm. this is not runaway mode like in an rt....

Actually Cha0tic, what I was talking about is similar to that of an RT. We did a test with my friends marker to see who chould get it to rapid fire and who couldn't. The trick is to pull the trigger really slowly. It's really hard to find the spot doing it this way and you'll only get a couple of shots off. It's impossible to do in a game. It can be done but it's not very practical. Not to mention that it's usually a good sign that your sear is close to the point where it won't catch the bolt at all anymore. It's not real fast either. The RT and Retros are faster, but it's cool to see a mag do it.

you can only get a run off mode on the RT. The only way to get your Automag to do that is get a ReTro valve which is the same valve in the RT Pro and the Emag.

If you forget to put the sear in, it goes into run-away
