AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Hello, I have an air america armageddon i just bought used, when the adjuster screw is all the way in the pressure is only going to ~800 psi, how can i fix this, or what is wrong?
I also just bought a used Armageddon. The only thing I can think of is on the adjustable rod. Take off the tank and pull out the thing that's sticking out of the on-gun portion of the regulator. At the far end it should be flat (mine is imprinted 30ish thou). If it looks like a hole, that's your problem.
the angle is tapered which would make sense, and there is a hole for the pin to fit into..if its not supposed to be there should i cover it? or perhaps just buy a longer adjustment screw?
I just had mine out the other day, it was 1/2" if I remember correctly. I would take it out and measure, but it took me half an hour to put it back in last time.
edit: and it was a grubscrew
Hmm, the one I have is a grubscrew. It is most likely not stock, the way it is, the guts can fall out the back of the regulator when the tank is off. It also allows the tank to go somewhere past the 1200 psi mark on the gauge, so its probably longer than its supposed to be but I don't need it for low pressure so it stays :) . You could either put a different bolt in there or you could remove the stem sticking out the back of the regulator and drop some shims in there. Anything under a 1/4 inch in length should do just fine.
please can anyone tell me is the set/grub screw stock a 1/2" ? will it work the same if for a quick fix i use just a longer bolt of the same thread? or does it have to be smaller and pass through
sweet....i called the air america tech support and they wouldnt know how to find that..he said check the paintball solutions website, click air america and it should say there...that site was where i got the number from, and all it says is for technical info/repairs of your discontinued tank to call the number i did...
well the bolt size is a 3/8, im going to try and find a longer one, or a set/grub screw 1/2 inch long (someone said) and try that
ok i brought it to a store today, the guy even said the screw in there wasnt the right size, it was hte metric equivalent i think...the threads arent damaged, just a loose fit, he said its a 10/32 or 5/16 grub screw...he said to get one as long as possible that doesnt stick out...im gonna do that tomorrow
It took me 30 mins because the threads at the front of the reg were buggered so I had to stick the grubscrew thru the back then the allen key thru the front and push the grubscerw towards the front while turning the allen key counter-clockwise. See, it took a long time to even explain it
