Running Halo off of Emag battery?

    Running Halo off of Emag battery?

    I currently run my 12v Rev off of my Emag battery. I did not use a voltage regulator and it has worked great for months and many cases of paint.

    I am tempted to plug it right into my Halo as well, but imagine I stand a very good chance of frying the 9v board in the Halo. Has anyone tried this? Is there an off-the-shelf regulator from RS I could use for this purpose?

    Any input would be greatly appreciated. I hate batteries and would appreciate how much lighter the Halo would be without the 6 little buggers in there!

      He has some good schematics for regulating to 12V. It's not hard at all if your slightly inclined.

          Does anyone know if regulating down to 12v is too much for the Halo or should it only take 9v. Also will the emag battery be able to power the gun, the warp and the HALO?
