I wondering about automag.org is it just a advertizement?

I've been thinging about getting a bunch of up grades for my gun... but then i remembered right now all i am is a rec player that plays about once a week or 3 times a month. Do i really need to dish out 300 extra dollar to play rec? then i thought more and remebered that i didnt want to upgrade my gun when i first bought it and now that i'm introduced to automags.org im hooked to trying to find the best upgrade! automags.org is in my opinion one of the best advertizement "scams" that i've ever seen (i dont like calling it a scam but couldnt think of another word). Its filled with biased one sided posters that just brain wash every one that sets there eyes on it, because there are so many biasd people and so many biased opinion. I think automags.org will just get worst becasue AGD bought it. You saw the crown point scam! every body wanted this crappy piece of poo-poo barrel just be cause he said so. Im not saying i hate AGD or Automags.org, just dont believe every thing you hear. from your own opinions not based on others. they might help but they arnt always perfectly right.

it is a great advertisement.. but every forum is great for that... some for angels some for cockers but the thing is... everybody here is either interested in mags or has one anyway so really what does it matter? and who listens when people say NO AFTERMARKET PARTS? well, i do.. but thats cuz my gun works nice anyway. but if someone wants something someone online isnt going to effect their decision.

Crownpoint barrel scam? Its $20, and a fine barrel I might add. Please don't come here, ask dumb questions and than refer to AO as a site filled with brainwashed posters.

Actually the crown point barrel was a marketing hoax to prove to TKs friends that us AGD customers arent mindless and we wont buy everything he says is good

Yes, you are correct on all counts!

This is a advertising scheme much like the Kingman website, Tippmann website, etc...

It is also filled with members who are pretty much as a single mind, same as Kingman-Tippmann-etc.

Logically, members are loyal to the 'Mag, this is the OWNERS GROUP after all, so you should not expect to see a lot of 'Cocker fans posting in their own forum here. If someone does NOT like 'Mags, chances are they do not know this site even exists.

Tom's CP barrel post was proof that not all members here are mindless drones. As many as 85% saw big errors in the original post, and started to question Tom and his thinking. That's like Moses asking God to explain the "covet" parts again! Sure a few bought barrels, heck, I almost did. $20 for a quality barrel? You couldn't go wrong!

I'll close by reminding you that, many peeps come here and post threads asking about other guns and, by and large, the AO members take care of the problem with grace and a modicum that is seriously lacking on those "other" websites.

ok, if people own a certain gun, and they like it, of course they're going to be biased to it. most of us here are biased towards mags. obviously. angel owners are more than likely towards angels and so on. what i think we have here is still the ability to not think other guns are crap. i know if someone were to ask me about cockers, i wouldn't tell them that they suck. they don't, they just take a lot of tinkering off of the game. if you have them working properly, they are really good guns. i think that most people here aren't that blind sighted by mags either. out of all the main groups of all the other guns, i think mag owners are the most open-minded towards other guns.

ummmmmmm, how many people fell into that, 5? i think it was 5. that consists of everyone? the majority of the people(including myself) questioned the whole thing.

I do not like to think I am biased or brain washed. Yes I own AGD products, yes I think they are good products, but I also own MANY other guns and think they are great too.

I own 5 AGD guns, yet none are my primary gun. Yes I like the Flatline, but I would still rather buy an Air America system.

I am not the only one like this, there are many. Yes you find that there is a biased view on here towards AGD products, but honestly what do you expect?

As for the Crown Point. It's not a bad barrel, I used my 8" for quite a while. It shoots as straight as any other aluminum tube. It just has that annoying "bing" every time you shoot...and it takes a gun that is reletivly quiet and makes it loud as hell:)

Your statement is very insulting to most of the AO members who are not so easily lead by the nose. I for one took exception to your exagerating snide elitest attitude. Some of us thought it was worth the $20. Still do! I can account for three of the six sales!

BTW, each of us who bought own only own 1 or 2 barrels, so $20 was well worth it.

Seems to me that every website owned by a company is advertisement for said company. Why else would AGD spend the money to keep this site open if it weren't to their own benefit? Some sites just offer more latitude for the users to say/do as they please than others. You are right, "Scam" is not the right word. Doubtless, some people here would like to scam others, but with few exceptions I have a lot of faith in the information found on this site.

First, i read the post and i know that not a lot of people bought them but a lot of people were thinking of getting 1. I bet that Tom had wished that he had never even said what he had on that post. He confused a lot of people, and those confused people either turned angry or felt mislead. I question the quality of the info i was reading on this site. do i really need warp, intellifeed, or other stuff?

Second, this post was meant for people to open their eyes (not offend anyone). and for kids that get a 15 to 30$ allowence a month to just think it over be for spending what you worked hard to save up. dont believe every thing you see, and look and many different resoursces. you might even want to check out an autococker forum and see what they think they might say not to get it be cause it sucks but at least you looked at every position.

thrid, i've notice that people on this forum need to lighten up don't be so defencive
