impostal22,
We've determined that you, in fact, have an automag classic.
Next, we'll assume you have an automag barrel. One that requires a quarter-turn to lock into place, in the mainbody.
That barrel will have a ball feed hole, perpendicular to the bore. Along side that end of the barrel, is a milled pocket (sometimes 2, 180 degrees apart), with one end cut right through to the bore. There should be 2 O-ring grooves, each with an O-ring.
That's where the nubbins go. They stop double feeds, and stop the balls from just rolling out.
I suggest you download and read the Automag owner's manual, have a look around the AGD store, to see what stuff looks like, and what it's called.
Here's a pic of the three different types of nubbins, "P" "V" and plastic

i have an armson pro-series and bought it on ebay, and don't think it has any of that stuff...what to do..? if i bought a brand new automag barrel would it have that stuff? or would it be cheaper to buy replacement parts? thanks for your help..
*edit...just read the nubbin section of the manual and it says AGD barrels have nubbins...sooooooo what do i do if i have a non-AGD barrel?Last edited by impostal22; 04-28-2003, 05:18 PM.Comment

If your barrel does not have the nubbin and detent, then you can either order them from the AGD online store, or you can see if your local shop has them.Comment

buy a parts kit for $15, it will contain at least 3 plasic nubbins. take off the O rings on the barrel ( assuming your barrel even has them ! ), insert the plasic nubbin with the triangular peice facing down into the barrel, throw you 2 O rings on over the nubbin and into their slots and go play.Cockers and Shockers and Mags, OH MY !!Comment

AGD does not make barrels, but barrels made for use on AGD guns will have the spots for the nubbins. If it fits on your mag it will be made for use on AGD guns and will need 2 o-ring nubbins and a detent (perferably plastic).Comment

eh don't be too mad..i just looked closer at my barrel and i *do* have a nubbin...so now what? i'm still double feeding and balls are rolling out of the barrel...is there something i can do w/ the nubbin or what? also..is the nubbin supposed to be on the top or bottom (mine ends up on the top)...PS- i don't think it should matter but the pro-series is a large bore barrel and the paint i'm using is medium (can't find large bore ANYWHERE), so maybe that accounts for my problems, but it shouldn't..i wouldn't think.Comment

is the nubbin plastic or is it a metal wire?? if it's a wire you can take it off and bend it so that it stick farther in the barrel, it should be stiking into the barrel about the width of a matchbook in most cases. just take the barrel off and stick a paintball into the barrel, does the nubbin keep it from rolling out ?Cockers and Shockers and Mags, OH MY !!Comment
