There are a few of us but good luck getting a response from most of them.

I have found that most of the NorCal AOers don't really get together much any more so I have started playing with the SoCal guys lately.
    ......You know you want one!!

Here here I'm a norcaller.....and yes there is very little activity. There is a thread around here somewhere about some guys that play in Vacaville. I haven't made it up yet but sound like it would be fun.

                nor cal woodballer

hey im part of the vacaville group too and things are stedily growing here. we have a site www.combatpaintball.net that is getting new members all the time. its cool check it out. we have a couple of small fields in vacaville that we are developing and were always trying to recruit new people to help this thing grow. we would like to get to the point where we can recruit some more land owners for games. we arent trying to make a buisness out of it either, we do sell air and paint at the fields but the playing time is free. And your welcome to bring your own stuff, though we would like it if you at least bought air here, perferably paint too, thats how we keep things running. but its not a condition. so check us out and check out our forum as well.

                  one more thing

One more thing. If we want the nor cal PB scene to grow we all have to make an effort. Its especially hard for woodsballers like me cause its limited here, not like socal where you have huge places like sc village and jungle island. But if we can start a community of our own both locally and in the nor cal area then this thing can spread like wild fire. its already a hugely growing sport we just have to work together to generate interest and we need to organize. At our group the whole idea is to get enough people who love the sport together to start a community of woodsballers/ pbers that can organize events and games that are free to play, not like going to an overpriced field somewhere. Our fields right now are litterally in someones back yard on there private property. He lets us play there because he loves the sport and he wants people to play against and challenge him, thats the type of people we need and thats the type of games we strive to organize.

Wouldn't neccessarrily call sc village much of a woodsball place anymore. It's more like urban paintball. True they have some jungle type fields but at the most you'll be visiting north or south vietnam. Everytime I've played walk on I never get to go to the fields in the back. Jungle island is pretty much urban with lots of dirt and small shrubs. Now if you want a more real woodsball type field then that would be conquest paintball park. You got bamboo and shrubs covering the place like a Jungle.
