    Ao-va '07?

I know there was just a little bit mentioned in the roll call thread, but if we want to seriously get something together then we may as well start now before it becomes too late.

First off is location. Judging from past AOs and the fields mentioned in the roll call thread we'll have 3 fields to choose from: PEVs, SplatBrothers, and Warplay.

    For more information:
    Pevs: http://www.agpaintballgames.com/news.php
    SplatBrothers: http://www.splatbrothers.com/
    Warplay: http://www.warplaypaintball.com/

PEVs is in Northern Virginia (Leesburg); SplatBrothers is in Central Virginia (Near Richmond); Warplay looks like it's in Central Virginia, but kind of in the middle of nowhere.

When you vote, vote based on which field is the most convenient for you, but also try to keep your options open if you can.

As for the day, the last weekend of October. 27th or 28th.

... And after my 3rd time trying this (I hate my internet), I finally got it right.

Since all these fields are at a convenient location for me it came down to personal preference. That's why I went with Pevs.

But I'm perfectly willing to play anywhere else.

I'll vote for Warplay... it's only a half-hour from where I live. I might not be able to make it, though. I might be at Penn State for a football game that weekend.

Yes, Warplay is out in the middle of nowhere. (about 45 minutes from me) but from experience i can tell you its an AMAZING field. the owners are both EXTREMELY nice guys and would be VERY accomodating to us (if we wanted to be kept as a group or any special requests and such). the prices are very fair and the best part: the fields themselves are of incredible quality and design. all of the money that players pay goes directly into the fields themselves.

please, for the love of fun, pick warplay.

Is the interest in AO-VA this low?

Of those choices Warplay by far, Pevs may be closer but, it has nothing on warplay field wise.

That and Sheetz is like 5 minutes away so good grub is never far.....

Splatbrothers is alright, last time I was there was 04 though.

Hmm.. I just saw this. Honestly, there is so much traffic and everything is just a bit more expensive in Northern VA that I like to avoid Pev's when available. I like the woodsball courses at Splatbrothers but have had mixed results with the field paint they provide, seeing as it is field paint only.

I think you need more than just a thread to get things rolling.

If I were organizing this, I would take the time to PM everyone on the Virginians Roll Call thread (there's about a hundred names in there) and tell them about this thread. Then you might get a lot more responses and feedback.
