I'm going to register this week, personally I was waiting for it to be closer to make sure nothing came up. I was also waiting to talk to some of my buddies here in NEPA to get a bunch of us to go.

So basically what they are saying is "we dont need your business."

As I remember it last year,... they were STUNED at the amount of people and paint we shot. They ASKED us to return.

Am I not remembering this correctly??

Guess we need to move next years event to another field then. See if they like us then.

Tunaball 2008 - Anyone for splitting a hotel room?

Is there anyone going to tunaball that would be interested in splitting a hotel room? I will be arriving on friday and leaving on monday.

Where were you looking at??? I'm would be interested in splitting a room and since I get to meet the great Software genius extraodinaire I'm interested. Update -

I received a somewhat surprising email from Topgun yesterday regarding the 'low' amount of pre-registrations that are signed up already. (37). Basically, they are crying because we 'only' have 37 pre-regs and that they 'turning away other full-paying customers'.

So once again let me reiterate the importance of pre-registering, ESPECIALLY if you or someone in your group needs rental equipment.

Scott's message was not aimed at upsetting TopGun Paintball. He is trying to motivate the folks on our end that have not, as of yet, registered for Tunaball. He may have selected too harsh a word, out of frustration, as he understands that you all are making business decisions based on projected attendance of our group. Please do not read into Scott's words, anything more than his annoyance at our folks for not following through in a timely fashion.

Scott has spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with various people, trying to make sure all, that plan to attend, register as soon as possible.

Many thanks to all the players that have already registered, and for those that plan to attend, please register ASAP.
