AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Hey Grunt, what would you charge me if I gave you a gloss blue slider to ano gloss or dust black for me? I can give it to you on the 19th.
Figured it's worth asking
Since SC Villiage is a much larger place than Pendleton, we should think about show times & more importantly where in the parking lot the AO team wants to gather. I know its gonna be more difficult to get e'body in one spot, but its worth a try, and makes the time between games ALOT more fun...
I'm not familiar with the place, any suggestions?

I've put up a map in the first post showing the three spots that are good places to meet. The earlier people arrive, the better the chance of finding a nice spot with space for everyone.I'd suggest everyone to be there no later than 7:30, so we can all park close together and get the registration and equipment set up so we can waltz in, give them everything, and play as soon as possible.
Personally, I prefer spots 1 and 3, nice and close to the fields/stations, and benches in the area.
Let me know about the time. Might seem early, but it gives time to find a nice parking setup, and for people to chat, set up equipment, and ogle each other's mags.
Went to play today. There's a few refs out there who are huge Mag fans. They're looking forward to having us over on the 19th.
I think 3 would be best, its close to the air station and theres plenty of tables in that section. 1 Would be ideal also but it does have a lot of traffic.

I agree, 3 would be good. As far as traffic is concerned, let the masses know that AGD is here as always and they can oooh and ahhh at all our Mag goodies and smell the BBQ!. Make em wish they had a Mag! Get the banner ready Rudz!

Thanks for adding the map. Took me awhile to make it based off the google satilite map. I think it turned out pretty well, but I think I'm still missing a few fields out in the woods. I took 360 degree photos of all the fields, but I haven't uploaded them yet. I ended up getting kind of lost out in the woods when I was taking them because it was after hours and the sun was going down. SC can be a scary place at night if you don't know where you are going.
Anyways I'd say #3 is the best pace because we can tuck into the corner there and be close enough to the action, but far enough away from the main traffic. The only problem is BBQing in that area might be a problem, but I'll talk with the manager. Also we'll be a bit far away from the speedball fields, but close to the main larger fields and fill stations.
I need to know if anyone is going to need rentals. I might be able to swing a deal for them, but I need to know if anyone is bringing more people then markers. I'm sure with the amount of people who have several guns we should have enough, but if for some reason you think a friend might need to rent a tank or Tippmann98c then let me know. If there are any personal questions about the fields, park layout or just general questions about SC then feel free to PM me and I can talk to my managers there as needed. The refs I know out there are really nice and will help us out. They refer to me as "the camera guy" now when I'm out there because I take all the pictures for the site and do the videos. I'm planning to bring my camera so that I can take some video and capture both days and turn them into a youtube video or something fun like that. With enough footage I could maybe even make some DVDs. Can't wait....
Sweet. Area 3 sounds good. As far as bar-b-Qing (how tha heck do you spell that, anyway?), the Pizza's worked out great last time, less work & mess than a Q. Gather funds on game day?
-Anyone?
Seriously, if he can work around that, that'd be great. Maybe someone can bring a printout with tank DOT numbers and SC workers can check them off? I had to rent a tank 3 or 4 times while I searched for a usable tank.
I have a spare Mag I'm planning on letting my friend use, but no tank for him to use. If you can't work the 5 year thing, I'll need a tank or two to rent.
Are we all cool for having it at spot 3? If you guys are, I'll make a new map with the spot and instructions. Also, any objections to 7:30?

7:30, holy smokes, Someone may need to save me a spot.
As soon as you get into the parking lot area for the scenario fields make a beeline to the back right corner of the prking lot right next to the helicopters. If you find yourself passing some buildings and structures you went too far.
